RULES OF THE "5 FLATWARE SET COLLECTIONS" CONTEST
The company ORFEVRERIE CHRISTOFLE (acting both on its own behalf and on behalf of other companies in the group), a simplified joint stock company with a capital of 5,950. 5,950,000, registered in the Nanterre Trade and Companies Register under number B 562 063 263 and whose registered office is located at 191 avenue Charles de Gaulle 92200 Neuilly-sur-Seine - FRANCE (hereinafter referred to as "the Organizing Company") is organizing a contest (hereinafter referred to as "the Contest") on its Europe, Great Britain and Switzerland Internet sites accessible at https://www.christofle.com/eu_fr, https://www.christofle.com/eu_en, https://www.christofle.com/uk_en, and https://www.christofle.com/expeur_en from February 15th, 2024 at 09:00 am. to April 1st, 2024 at 03:00 pm. (the French date and time of connection being deemed authentic, as recorded by the computer systems of the Organizing Company). The Organizing company reserves the right to modify the above-mentioned dates if the organization of the Game so requires.
1/ Principle
To participate in the Contest, each participant must complete the Contest registration form on one of the Organizing Company’s websites accessible at https://www.christofle.com/eu_fr, https://www.christofle.com/eu_en, https://www.christofle.com/uk_en and https://www.christofle.com/expeur_en. On said form, participants must fill in their Last Name, First Name, Email Address, Country of residence and validate their participation by clicking on the "Participate" button. The winners will be drawn at random from among the participants, under the control of the Organizing Company with the participation of independent witnesses.
2/ Duration
The Contest will run from FFebruary 15th, 2024 at 09:00 am. to April 1st, 2024 at 03:00 pm.
Any entry recorded by the Organizing Company after April 1st, 2024 at 03:00 pm. will not be taken into account.
3/ Number of winners
Five (5) winners among the participants will be designated by the Organizing Company with the participation of independent witnesses. A random draw will be held to award each of the five (5) prizes up for grabs to the people who have registered on the site and expressed which of the five (5) prizes they were competing for.
The draw to designate the winners among the participants will take place on April 8th, 2024 at the head office of the Organizing Company located at 191 avenue Charles de Gaulle 92200 Neuilly-sur-Seine - France.
The winner will be notified by email only. If the winner fails to notify the Organizing Company within ninety-six (96) working hours following the message informing the winner(s) of their prize, the prizes shall remain the property of the Organizing Company. No message will be sent to the losers. If the contact information provided by the participants does not allow the Organizing Company to inform the winners, the latter shall be disqualified and shall lose the benefit of their prize without compensation or indemnity of any kind whatsoever to be paid by the Organizing Company.
The prizes will be sent to the winner by postal mail with tracking. The delivery address must be communicated by the winners to the Organizing Company by email.
Employees and representatives of the Organizing Company, partner companies and all persons having collaborated in the organization and realization of the Contest, as well as members of their families, may not participate in the Contest.
4/ Prizes
The five (5) winners will be awarded the following prize: an individual set of silver-plated cutlery (five pieces) to be chosen from the following five (5) Christofle collections:
- Malmaison: a 5-piece Silver-plated Place Settings (reference 00018185) with a unit value of 530€ (Christofle recommended unit price for Europe and Switzerland including VAT February 2024) / £530 (Christofle recommended unit price for Great Britain including VAT February 2024).
- Infini Christofle: a 5-piece Silver-plated Place Settings (reference B00069185) with a unit value of 475€ (Christofle recommended unit price for Europe and Switzerland including VAT February 2024) / £475 (Christofle recommended unit price for Great Britain including VAT February 2024).
- Aria: a 5-piece Silver-plated Place Settings (reference 00022185) with a unit value of 530€ (Christofle recommended unit price for Europe and Switzerland including VAT February 2024) / £530 (Christofle recommended unit price for Great Britain including VAT February 2024).
- Cluny: a 5-piece Silver-plated Place Settings (reference 00016185) with a unit value of 360€ (Christofle recommended unit price for Europe and Switzerland including VAT February 2024) / £360 (Christofle recommended unit price for Great Britain including VAT February 2024).
- Jardin d’Eden: a 5-piece Silver-plated Place Settings (reference 00054185) with a unit value of 575€ (Christofle recommended unit price for Europe and Switzerland including VAT February 2024) / £575(Christofle recommended unit price for Great Britain including VAT February 2024).
The prizes may not be exchanged or taken back, nor may they be the subject of a financial consideration or a financial equivalent. No change for any reason whatsoever may be requested from the Organizing Company . It is specified that the Organizing Company will not provide any guarantee or assistance services, the prizes consisting solely of the delivery of the prizes provided for the Contest. Any claims concerning the provision of the prizes may not consist of a financial consideration and/or financial equivalent.
The Organizing Company declines all responsibility for any incidents or prejudices of any nature that may arise due to the enjoyment of the prizes awarded and/or due to their use, which the winners expressly acknowledge.
5/ Participation
Any participation that is incomplete or does not comply with these rules or that is made after the closing date of the Contest will be considered null and void and will result in the elimination of the participant.
Participation in the Contest is open to any person of legal age on the date of participation, domiciled in Europe, the United States the United Kingdom, and Sitzerland free of charge, with no obligation to purchase. Participation is nominative and limited, for the entire duration of the Contest, to one participation per person (same name, same first name) and per household (one e-mail address corresponding to one participation). It is therefore forbidden to participate under several pseudonyms, with several e-mail addresses or on behalf of other persons.
Participation in the Game implies full and unconditional acceptance of these rules. These rules are available free of charge on the Organizing Body's Europe, Great Britain USA and Switzerland websites, accessible at https://www.christofle.com/eu_fr, https://www.christofle.com/eu_en, https://www.christofle.com/uk_en and https://www.christofle.com/expeur_en. The Organizing Body reserves the right to modify, at any time, the present rules and to make any decisions that it may deem useful for the application and interpretation of the rules. The Organizing Body may inform the participants of such changes by any means of its choosing. The Organizing Body also reserves the right to modify, extend, shorten, suspend or cancel the Game, without prior notice, due to any event beyond its control and, in particular, in the event of an event constituting a case of force majeure or an act of God.
The liability of the Organizing Body is strictly limited to the delivery of the prize effectively and validly won by the winner.
Access to and participation in the Game do not confer on participants any right to the intellectual property rights of the Organizing Body.
Participation in the Contest implies knowledge and acceptance of the characteristics and limits of the Internet network, particularly with regard to technical performance, response times for consulting, querying or transferring information, the risks of interruption, the risks associated with the connection, the lack of protection of certain data against possible misappropriation and the risks of contamination by possible viruses circulating on the network. Consequently, the Organizing Company may not under any circumstances be held responsible, without this list being restrictive, in particular for malfunctions that may affect the Internet network, for any configuration problem or problem related to a given browser that may lead to failures in the administration, security, fairness, integrity or management of the Game.
The Organizing Company does not guarantee that the https://www.christofle.com/eu_fr, https://www.christofle.com/eu_en, https://www.christofle.com/uk_en and https://www.christofle.com/expeur_en websites and/or the Game will function without interruption, that they will not contain computer errors or that any defects noted will be corrected.
The Organizing Company cannot be held responsible in the event of technical malfunction of the Game, if participants are unable to connect to the https://www.christofle.com/eu_fr, https://www.christofle.com/eu_en , https://www.christofle.com/uk_en and https://www.christofle.com/expeur_en sites, if the data relating to the registration of a participant does not reach it for any reason for which it cannot be held responsible or if it arrives unreadable or impossible to process or in the event of problems with the routing of electronic mail or any other problem related to the telecommunications networks, online computers, servers, Internet access providers, computer equipment or software. Participants may not claim any compensation in this regard.
The Organizing Company shall not be held responsible for any direct or indirect, material or immaterial damage caused to participants, their computer equipment and the data stored therein, or for any direct or indirect consequences that may arise therefrom. The connection of any person to the sites https://www.christofle.com/eu_fr, https://www.christofle.com/eu_en, https://www.christofle.com/uk_en and https://www.christofle.com/expeur_en of the Organizing Company and the participation of the participants is done under their entire responsibility.
6/ Personal data - Privacy
The information collected in the context of this Contest is necessary to take into account your participation. This information is intended for the Organizing Company, which is responsible for processing it, for the purposes of managing your participation, for determining the winners and for awarding and delivering the prizes.
By participating in the Game, participants may also choose to accept to receive emails sent by the Organizing Company by email. The data thus collected may be used within the legal framework.

7/ Litigation
The present rules are governed by French law. No telephone request or claim concerning the Game or the interpretation of these rules will be answered. Any dispute or claim relating to the Game and/or the designation of the winners must be made to: service.clients@christofle.com.
No dispute or claim will be taken into account one month after the end of the Contest.
In the event of a persistent disagreement on the validity, application or interpretation of these rules, and in the absence of an amicable agreement, any dispute will be submitted to the competent court in Paris - France, to which exclusive jurisdiction is granted, except for imperative rules of procedure to the contrary.
