Vintage Silvered Five Light Candelabra - ODA x LE BON COIN
Choiseul
Description
Choiseul 5-light candelabra, designed by Christofle from 1968. The name Choiseul is an evolution of the original name of the model, formerly known as Choisy. The town of Choisy was home to King Louis XV, who liked to hunt there, and to his famous mistress Madame de Pompadour. They held many receptions there, where candelabras must have been legion... This piece features a classic Regency-style candelabra, a decorative style that reached its apogee between the reigns of the French kings Louis XIV and Louis XV. This piece, with its refined, contemporary composition, also reflects the talent of the Christofle studio for creating modern designs for new creations inspired by models with historicist resonances.
Christofle Vintage Collection pieces are second hand pieces selected and authenticated by Christofle. They are pieces in good condition and restored in our workshops in Yainville (Normandy)... More information
