A BAROQUE STYLE

 

Welcome to the lush universe of the Jardin d’Eden collection. Born in 2010 from the imagination of Marcel Wanders for Studio Christofle, it embraces the ornamental references dear to the Dutch designer. Baroque 
in its decoration, an interweaving of delicate foliage, the collection is also distinguished by its technical prowess: vegetal arabesques spread their organic poetry from handle to spoon, making Jardin d’Eden the only Christofle collection to be entirely decorated.

 

A set of precious and refined silverware, also available in partial gilding, where the blend of the two golds further highlights the depth and detail of the pattern.

La collection de couverts Jardin d’Eden a été créée en 2010 par Marcel Wanders studio, grand nom du design contemporain. Baroque à souhait, l’exubérance de son décor rompt avec l’épure caractéristique de la maison. Proposée en métal argenté dorure partielle ou totale, en argent massif dorure partielle, ou en vermeil, les arabesques de ces pièces luxuriantes s’harmonisent avec la porcelaine et les pièces d’orfèvrerie de la même collection.

Christofle has entrusted the design of this collection to Marcel Wanders studio, known for its extravagant, dreamlike creations. Thanks to his emblematic Knotted Chair, created for the Droog Design collective in 1996, Marcel Wanders studio has forged an international reputation.

The delicacy of this collection's finely engraved decoration makes Jardin d'Eden pieces exceptionally refined decorative objects. The decoration reflects the stylistic codes of the collection.
