This oval bowl from the Nice collection was created by Lino Sabattini in 1955. The self-taught Italian goldsmith and designer was originally from Correggio. His creations, exhibited in Paris by Gio Ponti, with whom he was a loyal collaborator, attracted international attention. He then became director of Christofle's creative workshops for seven years.
