This elegant Masséna tray, designed by Christofle in 1968, stands out for its extensive engraved decoration, which gives it its distinctive character. Its rim is adorned with a frieze of water leaves, complemented by two fluted handles.
Christofle Vintage Collection pieces are second hand pieces selected and authenticated by Christofle. They are pieces in good condition and restored in our workshops in Yainville (Normandy)...
Christofle buys the patents for silver plating and gilding by electrolysis which gave birth to silver metal in France. He becomes a goldsmith.
