AWAY FROM CODES, LEBONCOIN AND CHRISTOFLE CELEBRATE SILVERWARE

At the end of 2024, Christofle and leboncoin, who share the same values in terms of circular economy and taste for beauty, have come up with a tribute to vintage silverware.

But there's no question of playing the nostalgia card at face value! The task of hunting out second-hand treasures on leboncoin was entrusted to the interior design duo ODA.

Their finds, restored in the Christofle workshops, were then staged around three key moments in the festive season :
Festive aperitif / Festive diner / The day after party

White, silver or patterned tablecloths, reinvented functions, twisted objects of curiosity... ODA has skilfully broken the codes to create inspiring ambiences combining tradition and an ultra-contemporary atmosphere, combining silverware and audacity. Brilliant and very tempting!

ODA TAKES SILVERWARE TO A NEW LEVEL

A multi-disciplinary studio renowned for its interior design talents, ODA is committed to highlighting the art of living and the personality of each of its clients. Its two founders, Ève Ducroq and Arnaud Dollinger, juggle functionality and ornamentation, adding a touch of soul to each of their projects, often through objects. Their passion for sourcing, their curiosity and their ability to combine contemporary and vintage pieces enable them to meet every emotional aspiration.

ICONS OF YESTERDAY AND TODAY

It was undoubtedly Christofle who paved the way for the desire to dust off the household, to bring out the champagne buckets and candlesticks that had long been consigned to the top of the cupboard, to put them back at the heart of our everyday lives, and even to hijack them without any hang-ups.

Christofle continues to cultivate the pioneering spirit of its founder Charles Christofle (the first person in France to take an interest in the electrolytic silver plating process, revolutionising the world of goldsmithing). Christofle is constantly inventing and rethinking its craft to make our everyday lives more beautiful, so that its creations fit in with the times. Christofle strives to make it pulsate and vibrate, while preserving its heritage and expertise.

That's why the company has developed its Vintage Collection, restoring old pieces to their former glory, combining durability, heritage and modernity. Shakers, sauce boats, trivets, bread plates and candle holders are all restored to their former glory and given a place of honour in our homes.
