These silvered coasters from the Contours collection are delicately engraved with the name of the Compagnie Générale Transatlantique. This renowned shipping company operated numerous prestigious ocean liners throughout the 20th century. Christofle supplied nearly 45,000 pieces to one of the most famous of these ships, the Normandie, which was launched in 1935.
