As a goldsmith's house, Christofle uses silver as its preferred material. Malleable, pliable and shiny, solid silver, known as "925", is a precious metal whose alloy is composed of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, mainly copper.
Christofle then stamps each creation with its signature hallmarks.
