The Malmaison silverware collection embodies the classical elegance of the Empire style. Its symmetrical motifs, alternating water leaves and palmettes, are emblematic signatures of Christofle’s unique craftsmanship.

The ornamental codes of the Empire style were revisited and modernized. The emblematic palmettes bloom at the center of the plates, while rosettes introduce a graphic, rhythmic play of floral-inspired forms.

Designed by Andrée Putman in 2002, "Vertigo" brilliantly illustrates the design concept of its creator: combining a simple and pure aesthetic with the functional function of objects.
