The Mavelot key ring collection is a tribute to the greatest clients of Christofle since 1830. They have contributed to the influence of our House. Sterling silver key ring representing interlaced initials whose intertwining is inspired by the monograms designed by Charles Mavelot in the 17th century. Made as jewelry, the silver is highlighted by its mirror polished finish.
Eugenie de Montijo married Napoleon III and became Empress of the French in 1853.
Eugenie brought a breath of fresh air to the court of the Second Empire. She supported the arts and in particular fashion and jewelry... encouraging unprecedented industrial innovation. She even helped launch careers: the leather worker Louis Vuitton and the perfumer Pierre Guerlain.
