Description

The silver-plated sauce spoon in the América pattern is ideal for skimming sauces on a plate and can substitute as a fish knife. The flat-bottomed utensil was created specifically for dealing with sauces in 1950 by Paris’ famous Lasserre restaurant. Following World War I, America became synonymous with modernity and the world fell in love with its music, literature, art, lifestyle and architecture. To commemorate the across-the-pond admiration, Christofle named this 1933-launched Art Deco pattern of angular corners, beveled edges and masculine lines after the country.
