Henri d'Orléans (initials HO), Duke of Aumale, was born in 1822, he was the son of Louis Philippe, already a great Christofle customer. Thus, Henri d'Orléans and his nine brothers and sisters probably grew up with Christofle pieces... To celebrate his role as a patron of the arts and a major client of the house, Christofle dedicated a piece of its new collection to him and created a Mavelot key ring with his initials "HO".
