This Windsor ice bucket belongs to the Formes Nouvelles collection, created by Lino Sabattini in 1961. Lino Sabattini was a self-taught Italian silversmith and designer from Corrège. In 1956, his creations were exhibited in Paris by Gio Ponti and attracted international attention. He then became one of the iconic figures of the Christofle design office and formed a close and iconic partnership with Gio Ponti. This champagne bucket is characterized by the purity and simplicity of its form, emblematic of mid-20th century Italian art.

Christofle Vintage Collection pieces are second hand pieces selected and authenticated by Christofle. They are pieces in good condition and restored in our workshops in Yainville (Normandy)...

In order to preserve the beauty of your VINTAGE piece, we recommend that you maintain it with a Christofle product: the silver flash from time to time and the polishing gloves for regular maintenance. For maintenance with the polishing gloves: take off your jewelry and wipe the glove over the entire piece to restore its shine. For maintenance with the silver flash, refer to the product's instructions. Beforehand, be sure to remove the piece from its antioxidant pouch. This pouch is lined with antioxidant fabric to protect your piece from oxidation.
