The DELLIPSE collection consists of three exclusive pieces including a vasque, a Champagne bucket, and a saber, the ultimate joyful object used to open a bottle of Champagne.
Imagined by the Franco-American architect Elliott Barnes, the pieces are limited editions, individually numbered, hallmarked, and hand made by Christofle’s master silversmiths in Yainville, Normandie, France.
These exceptional pieces complement and enhance each other due to their fluid and reflective appearance. DELLIPSE exemplifies the French Art de Vivre, craftsmanship and design, created to honor of the best moments in life. The results are the culmination of a revered collaboration between the Maison Christofle and Elliott Barnes.
The inspiration for the design began by bringing together two C’s, Christofle and Champagne, to create on oval shape. This two-dimensional form was then pressed, hollowed, and twisted; an inspiration taken from the motion used to finish the serving of Champagne.
“The opportunity to work on the rituals surrounding Champagne for Christofle has great significance for me” says Elliott Barnes having collaborated with some of great Champagne houses around the world.
