This silver-plated sauce spoon, part of the Marly collection, is ideal for serving sauces and gravies and is placed above the plate or brought with the serving dish.
Created in 1897, the Marly collection is one of Christofle’s most ornate designs, inspired by the Château de Marly built for Louis XIV. Its finely chased Rocaille decoration, with flowing foliage and shell motifs, reflects the richness of French decorative arts and the Maison’s exceptional silversmithing expertise.

Having become famous, Maison Christofle was solicited by foreign sovereigns such as Emperor Maximilian of Mexico, the Tsar of Russia, Germany of the Kaiser, the Austro-Hungarian Empire and Sultan Abdulaziz of the Ottoman Empire.
