The plate and bowl were produced by Christofle for Messageries Maritimes, the prestigious French shipping company, as can be seen from the engraving of the company's symbol, the unicorn with anchor, which adorns both pieces.
Christofle Vintage Collection pieces are second hand pieces selected and authenticated by Christofle. They are pieces in good condition and restored in our workshops in Yainville (Normandy)...
