CHRISTOFLE, A LIVING HERITAGE COMPANY, REVEALS THE SECRETS OF ITS CRAFTSMANSHIP DURING THE EUROPEAN HERITAGE DAYS, SEPTEMBER 19–20, 2026, IN PARIS

On the occasion of the 43rd European Heritage Days, Christofle will exceptionally open the doors of its historic boutique at 9 rue Royale, Paris, on Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20, 2026.

For nearly two centuries, this iconic address has embodied the Maison's history and excellence in the art of French silversmithing. During a one-hour immersive visit, guests will be invited to discover the gestures, métiers and exceptional craftsmanship that bring a living heritage to life, where tradition, innovation and the transmission of savoir-faire come together.

A JOURNEY INTO THE HEART OF SILVERSMITHING

An introduction retracing Christofle's history, from its founding by Charles Christofle to its international renown.

A discovery of the key stages in the creation of a piece of flatware, through a presentation of die-stamping and the tools used to shape Christofle's silverware.

An interactive experience inviting visitors to guess the purpose of unusual flatware and objects from the Maison's historical heritage.

A meeting with Christofle's master artisans, featuring live demonstrations of assembling, chasing and burnishing techniques.

An introduction to the Maison's restoration expertise and its Vintage service, dedicated to preserving and bringing Christofle's heritage pieces back to life.

A hand-engraving demonstration, showcasing the art of personalizing both exceptional creations and everyday pieces.
