Handcrafted in sterling silver, individually numbered and limited to just 8 pieces, the Chute de Glycines vase is an exclusive creation elevated by the exceptional craftsmanship of the Maison’s Haute Orfèvrerie workshop. The result of 166 hours of work, it combines the matte brushed finish of its body with a mirror-polished motif that shines with radiant reflections. This duality of textures showcases the silversmith's exceptional craftsmanship—a unique silverwork that employs the techniques of spinning, chasing, and polishing.

Christofle's Haute Orfèvrerie creations embody the pinnacle of silversmith's craftsmanship, where exceptional materials and masterful handwork come together to create rare, numbered pieces of timeless artistic expression.

LES COLLECTIONS HISTORIQUES

The Historic Collections celebrate the bold creativity of the Maison’s archives through contemporary reinterpretations of the Chute de Glycines (1917) and Dents-de-loup (1925) vases, both inspired by the art of dinanderie.

Entirely handcrafted in the Haute Orfèvrerie workshops in Normandy, these spectacular, generously proportioned pieces combine a matte brushed body with mirror-polished motifs that reveal radiant reflections. This subtle interplay of textures enhances their distinctive decorative language, from the fluid elegance of Art Nouveau to the structured geometry of Art Déco.

Crafted in sterling silver using traditional techniques such as spinning, chasing, and polishing, each vase is individually numbered and limited to just 8 pieces. Exclusive creations, they embody the excellence and virtuosity of the Maison’s silversmithing craftsmanship.

1858

Having become famous, Maison Christofle was solicited by foreign sovereigns such as Emperor Maximilian of Mexico, the Tsar of Russia, Germany of the Kaiser, the Austro-Hungarian Empire and Sultan Abdulaziz of the Ottoman Empire.
