Description

Sterling silver Tie necklace chain from the Pompon collection. The collection honors a motif that has a special place in the history of costume, decoration and, more broadly, the decorative arts: the pompon.


They are created on a byzantine chain, also called royal mesh or Peruvian mesh, "Birdcage" or "Dilemma of the Fool" depending on the continent and the time. This flexible chain consists of a geometric tangle of rings strung together in a precise and complex pattern. The ends of the Byzantine chains are adorned with graceful tassels themselves made of fine Venetian chains. The Pompon necklace can be worn in several ways: wrapped around the neck, tied in a tie, adapt it to your desires and your clothes. The Byzantine chain offers a pattern that is both very elegant and feminine but also strong and capable of great flexibility.
