The silver plated sauce spoon in the Malmaison pattern is ideal for skimming sauces on a plate and can substitute as a fish knife. The flat-bottomed utensil was created specifically for this purpose in 1950 by Paris’ famous Lasserre restaurant.

Launched in 1967, the frieze of delicate palm & lotus leaves decorating the flatware are typical of the Empire style.
