This set is composed of 6 Arceaux knife holders. The knife-holder, Arceau model was created by Maison Christofle, in 1937, under the artistic direction of Luc Lanel. This piece with strictly geometric lines is emblematic of the Art Deco style of the interwar period. This artistic movement owes its name to the 1925 International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts in Paris, at which Christofle had a pavilion. It celebrates the geometrisation and stylisation of forms, thus advocating a refined and very modern style at the end of the Art Nouveau era.
This emblematic piece of the Maison Christofle has strongly participated in the rise of Art Deco in the heart of homes.

Pour l’entretien avec les gants d’orfèvre : veillez à retirer vos bijoux et à passer le gant sur l’ensemble de la pièce afin de lui redonner tout son éclat. Pour l’entretien avec le liquide antioxydant, se référer à la notice du produit. Au préalable, veillez à retirer la pièce de sa pochette antioxydante. Cette pochette est doublée de tissu antioxydant protégeant votre pièce de l’oxydation.
