Description

This silver-plated Malmaison teapot, with its striking ebony wood handle, adds refinement and elegance to any afternoon tea or brunch. The teapot pairs perfectly with the Malmaison cream pitcher and sugar bowl. One of Christofle's most historic patterns, Malmaison exemplifies the Empire style, with its frieze of delicate palm and lotus leaves and symmetrical design. The name is a nod to the Chateau de la Malmaison, a favored Parisian residence of Napoleon Bonaparte and Empress Josephine. This teapot can hold 64 fl. oz. (8 cups) of tea.
