The Perles cutlery set is part of Christofle's historic collections. Perles elegantly reflects one of the typical ornaments of the Louis XVI style. A delicate row of half-relief pearls lines the edge of each piece, as if forming a necklace.
Non-contractual picture. Storage chests contain modules in Imperial Green anti-tarnish fabric.
The alignment of beads in halfrelief is typical of Louis XVI ornamentation. This classic and feminine design outlines the contours of the flatware like a pearl necklace.
Having become famous, Maison Christofle was solicited by foreign sovereigns such as Emperor Maximilian of Mexico, the Tsar of Russia, Germany of the Kaiser, the Austro-Hungarian Empire and Sultan Abdulaziz of the Ottoman Empire.
