Created in 1981 by Studio Christofle, the Torsades collection is distinguished by its sculptural lines and captivating interplay of light. The twisted ribs adorning each piece catch the light, creating a graceful sense of movement and lightness. This five-piece silvered set brings together a champagne bucket, an ice bucket and three bowls of different sizes, delicately accented with twisted borders. A refined and harmonious ensemble, designed to elevate the art of entertaining and bring a distinctive touch of elegance to shared moments over drinks.
Christofle Vintage Collection pieces are second hand pieces selected and authenticated by Christofle. They are pieces in good condition and restored in our workshops in Yainville (Normandy)...
Christofle buys the patents for silver plating and gilding by electrolysis which gave birth to silver metal in France. He becomes a goldsmith.
