This leaf-shaped bowl is a candy dish, a model designed in 1959 by Lino Sabattini. Lino Sabattini is a self-taught silversmith and designer from Corrège. In 1956, his creations were exhibited in Paris by Gio Ponti and attracted international attention. He then became Christofle's design director for seven years. This bowl belongs to the very important “Formes nouvelles” collection, in which the artist reimagines everyday objects.
